Tourism NT Distribution Development Program

Tourism NT, in partnership with ATEC is excited to launch the Distribution Development Program. A tailored opportunity for Northern Territory tourism and hospitality businesses looking to build or grow their trade distribution capability.
This program is designed to equip NT businesses with the knowledge, tools, and connections to successfully navigate international trade. Participants will gain access to trade events, mentoring, market insights, and targeted support.
The program has two stages:
Stage 1 – New to Trade Distribution
Ideal for businesses that have not yet explored trade distribution.
Inclusions:
- Two in-person workshops to develop your understanding of the tourism distribution system
- Attendance at ATEC Meeting Place - a trade show development famil (flights and accommodation covered)
- 1:1 mentoring with a dedicated distribution mentor
- ATEC Explore NT seller registration (subject to program completion)
Cost: $400
Program value: Over $4,500
Key Dates:
- 26–28 October 2025: Workshop 1 and trade show famil (ATEC Meeting Place)
- February 2026: Workshop 2
- March 2026: Explore NT
Stage 2 – For Previous Program Participants
For businesses that have completed the ATEC Tourism Trade Ready Program and are new to working with trade.
Inclusions:
- Seller registration at ATEC Meeting Place (flights and accommodation covered)
- ATEC Meeting Place preparation session
- 1:1 market positioning session with Tourism NT’s international team
Cost: $900
Program value: Over $4,000
Key Dates:
- September 2025: ATEC Meeting Place preparation session
- 27–29 October 2025: ATEC Meeting Place
Additional Information
- Travel for workshops and the trade show (flights and accommodation only) are included in the program.
- Participants may also be eligible for subsidised ATEC membership.
