The Northern Territory Aboriginal Tourism Strategy 2020 - 2030 vision is to be the undeniable Australian leader in the Aboriginal tourism sector.

The Aboriginal Tourism Development Support Grant Program supports this vision by assisting NT majority owned Aboriginal businesses and organisations to develop Aboriginal cultural tourism experiences and products that encourage visitors to travel to the NT and stay longer.

Tourism NT is providing a non-competitive funding pool of $300,000 (excluding GST) for professional services to support feasibility studies and business planning. Professional services can also be engaged to assist in preparing applications to the relevant land council or other land management authority for tourism experiences and product/s.

Applications can be submitted for:

  • a minimum funding value of $10,000 (excluding GST)
  • up to a maximum funding value of $30,000 (excluding GST)
