NT Budget 2016-17

The Northern Territory Government has announced the NT Budget for 2016-17.
Tourism NT's overall budget for 2016-17 is $51.135 million, compared to an estimate of $49.583 million in 2015-16. This includes a further year of additional funding of $8 million for tourism marketing and aviation initiatives.
Budget 2016 continues the Northern Territory Government’s focus on tourism as a key driver of the NT economy.
The Budget includes $20 million to build skywalks in Territory parks, including at Nitmiluk National Park, to create world-class adventure tourism experiences.
Tourism NT will continue to work closely with industry to maximise investment and achieve our Tourism Vision target of a $2.2 billion visitor economy by 2020.
