Territory takes out best stand at AIME

The Northern Territory stand was named Best Stand over 36 square metres, beating out more than 30 other stands and travel destinations at the expo, the largest of its kind in Australia.
Led by the Northern Territory Convention Bureau (NTCB), the NT stand included 18 industry partners, all selling the Territory's exceptional business events products and services to more than 4,000 suppliers and business events decision makers from around Australia and the world.
This year's delegation, one of the largest in recent years, coincides with the launch of the new Northern Territory Business Events Support Fund, which will be promoted to event planners at AIME.
The new Fund will allow the NT to more aggressively compete for lucrative business events that deliver significant benefits to the economy by providing financial assistance of $100 per delegate up to a maximum of $50,000 per event for qualified business events that are at the consideration or bidding stage.
