Adventure NT in Uluru
The Red Centre has this week played host to two key international trade events, Inbound NT and Adventure NT.

Inbound NT saw 35 Inbound Tour Operators experience the Centre and network with local tourism businesses while 25 Key Distribution Partners from Greater China took part in the Adventure NT event.

Inbound NT is the Territory’s largest and most important inbound trade event allowing local internationally-ready operators to grow international visitor numbers through business-to-business meetings with key product buyers.

Adventure NT is a Tourism NT biennial trade mission bringing key Chinese buyers to the Territory every second year, and taking local tourism operators to China on the off-year.

Inbound Tour Operators attending Inbound NT will participate in a familiarisation travelling to Uluru, Kings Canyon and Alice Springs.

Key Distribution Partners from Greater China attending Adventure NT will cover Darwin, Kakadu, Katherine, Alice Springs, Kings Canyon and Uluru.

Some of the unique NT tourism products and destinations these key buyers will be experiencing are: Cicada Lodge at Nitmiluk National Park, Katherine Outback Experience, Bitter Springs at Mataranka and the Karrke Aboriginal Cultural Experience at Watarrka National Park to name a few.

Having these key trade events coincide is a valuable opportunity for the Territory’s tourism industry to showcase their products to an international audience.

They also equip key product buyers with the first-hand destination knowledge required to sell more Northern Territory products to overseas customers.
