Dinner at Uluru
Visitors to Uluru can now experience dinner with a view of the iconic landmark while on board a double decker bus.

The new Uluru Fork and View dinner tour was officially launched last night by local tour companies SEIT Outback Australia and the Australian Transit Group (ATG).

The tour takes place on a specially designed double-decker open top coach, the lower deck having been completely transformed into a kitchen and the upper deck a 44 seat open air eatery with uninterrupted, panoramic views of Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park.

The fit-out of the double-decker bus was assisted via a $75,545 grant from the NT Government’s Tourism Infrastructure Development Fund Accelerator program.

The Uluru Fork and Dinner tour will enhance the suite of experiences on offer in the Centre for both domestic and international tourists and encourage them to stay longer.

It also ties into Tourism Australia’s global #RestaurantAustralia campaign, which aims to promote the unique food and wine experiences on offer in Australia.

The new progressive dinner tour is available for group bookings and includes a three course meal and tour around the base of Uluru.
