Katherine Hot Springs set for makeover

The Katherine Hot Springs will receive a major makeover as part of an exciting new project supported by the NT Government.
Tourism NT is contributing $250,000 to the first stage of Katherine Town Council’s $950,000 plan to revitalise the area, which is growing in popularity.
Improving the facilities on offer is part of our plan to entice even more visitors to the Katherine region, encouraging them to stay longer and spend more.
Boosting tourism in our regions is a key priority of Tourism NT to help achieve our Tourism Vision 2020 target of a $2.2 billion visitor economy.
Stage one of the upgrades to be carried out by Katherine Town Council include landscaping to improve the amenity of the area, add grassed sections with seating and planting on the banks to stabilise soil and revitalise the space.
