Jumping Roo welcomes visitors in Alice Springs
A new Jumping Roo display is welcoming passengers to Alice Springs Airport, promoting tourism experiences in the region.

Similar to the Jumping Croc display at Darwin International Airport, the Jumping Roo encourages visitors to have their photo taken mid-air while jumping like a kangaroo.

The image is then emailed to the visitor, who is encouraged to use the adjacent Tourism Touchscreen.

The Tourism Touchscreen sends users to Tourism Central Australia’s website, www.discovercentralaustralia.com, which provides region-specific information, product listings and a ‘book now’ function.

The Jumping Croc display in Darwin has proven a huge hit with visitors and takes a photo every three-and-a-half minutes. Along with their photograph, users also get emailed information relevant to their stay.

The Jumping Roo has been installed for a trial period of 12 months.
