Get out of the state you're in campaign
Get out of the State you're in and come to the Northern Territory is the message behind Tourism NT's new youth campaign.

The new campaign stars well-known Australian comedians Tanya Hennessy, Harley Breen and Alex Williamson, who each poke fun at their hometowns Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide in hilarious online videos.

In the Sydney clip, Tanya discusses "Things Sydney People Never Say" such as "Look there's no line at Messina", a reference to the popular Sydney gelato chain.

While in the Melbourne video, Harley takes on Melbourne's pretentiousness by almost vomiting after drinking an avocado latte.

The videos then go on to show viewers all the reasons why the Northern Territory is better than "the state you're in".

The light-hearted online clips are specifically targeted at 18-35 year olds. Designed to be shared far and wide across social media, they've already attracted hundreds of thousands of views on Facebook.

The youth market is an important tourism market for the Territory and this latest campaign will ensure the NT stands out from the crowd.

The three comedians who star in the videos also have significant social media followings and reach millions of Australians every week through their radio shows and social platforms delivering substantial additional exposure for the NT.
