Festival Fundings for Festivals and Events
Funding is now available to help boost festivals and events across the Northern Territory.

The funding program, delivered by the NT Government through FestivalsNT, will see up to $500,000 in grants available.

The investment will ensure local community festivals and events continue to thrive, while encouraging more tourists to visit the Northern Territory's regions.

Festivals and events are more than an activity – they unite communities, uncover emerging artists and art forms, expand and challenge our thinking, and importantly, celebrate the people, culture and uniqueness that is the Northern Territory.

The Territory is home to a vast array of festivals and events, from the Beanie Festival in Alice Springs, Barunga Festival, Darwin Aboriginal Art Fair and Camel Cup.

FestivalsNT has established the funding program to assist with the creation of new events, help develop existing events, attract more visitors and showcase the NT.

The first round of the 2017-2018 funding round is now open and will close on Friday 23 June 2017. Successful applicants will be notified by Friday 4 August 2017. The second funding round opens on 12 November 2017 and closes on 15 December 2017.
