The Northern Territory's peak tourism season has received a boost following the announcement by Qantas of extra flights between Alice Springs and Brisbane.

QantasLink will operate two additional return services on Monday and Wednesday each week from July 4 to September 28, in addition to the airline’s existing services on Saturday and Sunday.

The extra flights from Brisbane into Alice Springs will bring a potential 500 extra seats per week, increasing visitor numbers to the region and providing an important boost for the local economy.

The Red Centre is the perfect winter escape and tourists will be kept busy with our busy schedule of events between July and September including the Camel Cup, Henley on Todd and the RedCentre NATS.

The new Brisbane-Alice Springs seasonal flights will depart Brisbane at 8.30am, landing into Alice Springs at 11.15am and then departing Alice Springs at 12 midday, arriving into Brisbane at 3.05pm.
