Dami Im is among a host of big names set to perform at a special Overture to Peace concert in Darwin on Anzac Day eve.

The musical extravaganza will be held at TIO Stadium as part of the inaugural Territory Tribute military festival.

The new festival will position the NT as the ultimate military pilgrimage destination in Australia, bringing visitors to the Territory during the shoulder tourist season.

Part of the Turbocharging Tourism initiative, the Territory Government is investing more than $1.9 million in Territory Tribute, which runs from the Bombing of Darwin commemoration on 19 February through to Anzac Day and includes an International Military Writer’s Festival, Last Post ceremonies and more.

The Overture to Peace concert will take the audience on a moving journey, honouring Australian military history and highlighting the Territory’s unique military story.

It will be directed by John Foreman OAM and feature Human Nature, Dami Im, Marina Prior and the Darwin Symphony Orchestra as well as local performers and representatives from the Defence Force and Larrakia Nation.

Tickets are free but limited and must be reserved ahead of the concert.

The event will take place on Anzac Day eve Wednesday 24 April at TIO Stadium from 7.30pm to 9pm.
