Australian tourism awards coming to Darwin

The Qantas Australian Tourism Awards (QATAs), the nation’s premier tourism industry event, will be held in Darwin next year.

The Awards will be held on 24 February 2017 at the Darwin Convention Centre.

More than 800 people are expected to attend the gala evening including sponsors, industry partners and state/territory tourism award winners.

It's the first time the awards will be held in Darwin and its guests traveling to the Northern Territory for the event are expected to spend around $500,000 back into the local economy.

The QATAs will feature 25 categories with the winners of each State/Territory Awards competing for Gold, Silver and Bronze recognition at the national level.

With the Australian Tourism Awards 2016 to be held in Darwin, Tourism NT is calling on ALL our tourism operators and businesses to enter the 2016 Northern Territory Tourism Brolga Awards.

The only way to enter the Australian Tourism Awards is by winning a Brolga Award.  Entry is free and Tourism NT offers a range of programs to assist you with your entry. Nominate now to receive your Tourism Awards Guide Book, a step-by-step guide to help you through the submission process.
