Over 942,000 Aussies will get a taste of what a summer holiday in the Top End can offer as part of Tourism NT’s Now in Season national marketing campaign.

Weekend Sunrise Weather presenter James Tobin will be crossing live from Darwin on Saturday 2 November between 7am to 10am to showcase the NT’s world class art and culture scene including the much anticipated Bruce Munro: Tropical Light exhibition.

The show will kick off with Aboriginal dance and song by a group of local performers from The Youth Mill, before featuring the inaugural Darwin International Laksa Festival. James will taste a breakfast laksa and Cold Rock Darwin’s unusual take on the popular Asian dish with Australia’s first-ever laksa flavoured ice cream.

The show will conclude at Crocosaurus Cove showcasing their new product Tropical Nights - a special Bruce Munro: Tropical Light themed package aimed at families.

To further leverage Crocosaurus Cove Tropical Nights, Tourism NT have partnered with Virgin Australia to offer a special croc holiday deal. The deal offers the first 1,000 travellers who book a flight on Virgin Australia to Darwin a complimentary family pass to Crocosaurus Cove’s Tropical Nights followed by a 50% discount to Tropical Nights until 29 April 2020.

Territorians are encouraged to tune in to Channel 7 from 7am to 10am this Saturday 2 November.
