Territory Tourism Discount Scheme

The Northern Territory Government’s Territory Tourism Discount Scheme will encourage Territorians to explore their backyards and regional areas and kick-start the 2024 tourism season.

The $1 million scheme will offer a 25% discount on tourism products and experiences undertaken across the Northern Territory. The discount is applied to all bookings made through Visitor Information Centres in Darwin, Katherine, Tennant Creek, Alice Springs and Yulara.

Available for all transactions of up to $5,000, the discount will automatically be applied to sales of bookable product (excluding retail items and gift certificates). The streamlined process means that Territorians can use the discount as many times as they wish during the booking period.

The scheme is live from 29 February 2024 until 30 April 2024 for tourism products and experiences. The discount will be available for bookings until 30 April 2024 to entice locals and visitors to book during our traditionally quieter months and into the beginning of the shoulder season.

The Territory Tourism Discount Scheme has been developed in partnership with the Northern Territory Regional Tourism Organisations, Tourism Top End and Tourism Central Australia, along with the Katherine Town Council.

How to get involved

All Territory tourism enterprises with bookable product sold through NT Visitor Information Centres will have the discount automatically applied to their product at the time of sale.
