Northern Territory Aviation Strategy

Released in December 2003, the Northern Territory Aviation Strategy 2004-2006 provides a framework for the development of air services in the Northern Territory with the aim of maximising tourism and trade opportunities.

2006 and Beyond

The tender for the revised and updated NT Aviation Strategy has been awarded to Tourism Futures International.  The 4 year strategy (2007 - 2010) will further develop the existing strategy to address international and domestic air services, community and regional air services, and air freight and aviation support industries.

Tourism Futures International (TFI) is a research oriented company specialising in the future of aviation, travel and tourism.  TFI has assisted airlines and transport companies, airports, accommodation providers and destination agencies in strategic develpoment issues.
