Darwin and surrounds

The Darwin region encompasses Darwin and outer Darwin, Litchfield, Adelaide River, Gove and the Tiwi Islands.

Completed projects

Following a product audit and in partnership with the local councils and tourist groups, a number of infrastructure, business development activities and tourism development projects have been completed. These include interpretive displays at Blyth Homestead and Florence Falls within Litchfield National Park, Tourism Development Plan for Adelaide River and Batchelor and interpretive plan and signage for East Point Military Reserve.

A total of $180,000 was spent on projects in this region during 2004/05.
