Tourism - Make the Switch Program
Tourism NT actively encourages the tourism industry to minimise their impacts on the environment through the adoption and promotion of sustainable initiatives.
The Tourism - Make the Switch Program provides grants to tourism operations, not connected to the NT electricity grid, to assist with the costs associated with replacing fossil fuel generations with renewable energy technology.
To qualify, applicants must:
- run a viable, destination appropriate tourism operation
- meet the requirements of the Australian Government's Renewable Remote Power Generation Program
