Infrastructure and Investment

Tourism NT is committed to working to overcome some of the barriers that currently restricts the level of investment which occurs in major tourism infrastructure in the NT through their Tourism Investment Portfolio.

This includes:

• promoting a list of tourism properties for sale
• promoting the range of tourism development opportunities available
• assisting investors - providing information to aid the consideration of investment decisions and assisting investors negotiate the approvals process
• Tourism Electricity Support Program - assisting major investors with the cost of power generation
• Tourism - Make the Switch program - assisting regional tourism operations with the capital costs involved in replacing or offsetting fossil fuel generation with renewable energy technology
• Establishing the NT Natural Partnerships Initiative
