Incentives for first time entrants

An incentive prize package will be available for first time entrants who are winners in their respective categories. This applies to categories 1 to 26 only. Winners can potentially receive a prize worth approximately $2,500.

Support to attend a relevant trade or consumer show or tourism conference ie participation or registration fee covered by Tourism NT (up to $1,500). Tradeshow or conference to be approved by Tourism NT
Increased co-operative advertising support up to $500 in Tourism NT approved publications (to be matched dollar for dollar by the winner)
Waiving of accreditation fees for businesses accredited with the Australian Tourism Accreditation Program (ATAP).

Conditions of incentive prize package

Eligible winners must contact Tourism NT prior to 28 February 2009 to make arrangements for their prize package, otherwise the package will be forfeited.
Any prize package or part thereof not utilised will be forfeited and cannot be exchanged for cash or any other benefit.
Only one prize package per company, regardless of whether a company is a winner in multiple categories.
Government departments and Government funded agencies are not eligible for the incentive prize package.

Tourism NT Business Growth Award

The Tourism NT Business Growth Award is designed to foster business growth and assist the recipient in expanding their tourism business opportunities. The winner is selected from the pool of entrants and the recipient is determined at the discretion of the Chairman of Judges.

The winning business will be invited to participate in a national, international or specifically tailored tourism sales event to the value of $5,000.
