Marketing Communications’ key role is to promote the Northern Territory as a tourism destination through integrated marketing activities including advertising, public relations, direct mail, online activity, publications, consumer/trade shows and cooperative relationships with key trade partners.

Marketing Communications implements Tourism NT’s marketing programs in Australia and is responsible for developing the Northern Territory’s tourism brand and enhancing its application in  the international marketplace.

International Operations works with trade and other partners internationally to apply the Northern Territory’s tourism brand in key markets and to promote the destination through joint marketing initiatives.  International Operations look to identify and develop new markets and enable the Northern Territory tourism industry to better understand the changes occurring in source markets.
