Tourism NT sponsors media visits, with support from the NT tourism industry, to promote the Northern Territory.

We encourage travel journalists to contact us with story ideas and we can assess if, and how much, to support the project.

How to apply for support

Australia & New Zealand media

A request should be made in writing to Liz.McCouaig@nt.gov.au

Your request should outline:

• your story angles
• the name of the publication or media outlet your story will appear in and an estimated date
• the program you are filming and details of when and where it will air (channel, timeslot, dates)
• the level of support you are seeking
• details of where and when you plan to travel

Requests should be made at least four weeks before travel to allow sufficient time for photography and filming permits to be put in place.

International media

All requests from international media should be made in writing to the relevant public relations representative.
