Commonwealth National Parks

The Northern Territory is home to Kakadu and Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Parks – two of the most recognised World Heritage listed National Parks in the world.

Both enjoy the rare privilege of dual World Heritage listing for their universal cultural and natural values.

Situated in the Red Centre and Top End of the Northern Territory, Uluru-Kata Tjuta and Kakadu play host to hundreds of thousands of visitors each year.
