Domestic trade
Tourism NT holds one major trade event annually, the NT Muster. The NT Muster takes up to 40 Territory tourism operators on the road to meet with key trade nationally. The roadshow visits four states, educating the travel industry on the Northern Territory and the types of experiences available.
2011 NT Muster dates and expressions of interest will be available soon.
International trade
In conjunction with Tourism Australia (TA), Tourism NT participates in a number of international trade shows and events each year to promote Australia’s Northern Territory as a premier travel destination.
These events provide NT operators with the opportunity to meet with and educate wholesalers and retail travel agents from around the world.
To receive information about Tourism Australia initiated shows, contact TA direct to be included in their distribution list. The details are also listed on the TA website: www.tradeevents.australia.com.
Trade shows initiated by Tourism NT are advised via direct email to NT operators who are either active in or have shown interest in the international marketplace.
Operators should ensure their contact details are included in the International Operations database to receive regular updates and information.
