Million Dollar Fish ambassador, Matthew Hadyen, helped launch season 3 of the competition in Darwin, encouraging Aussies to register for the competition.
“We’ve got 101 tagged barra to be released in Darwin as well as some of the best fishing spots in in the Top End including Kakadu, Katherine, the Tiwi Islands and Arnhem Land regions,” he said.
The Million Dollar Fish competition is timed to grow visitor numbers to the Top End during the low season from October to February.
