The Brolga Northern Territory Tourism Awards (Brolga Awards) are the official tourism awards program for the Northern Territory. The Brolga Awards recognise and encourage tourism businesses that strive for excellence in every area of their operation.
The Brolga Awards are open to tourism operators, industry suppliers and outstanding individuals, who prepare a submission in response to a series of questions and criteria that measure business excellence. Winning a Brolga Award is the industry’s highest accolade and the recipients represent the best products and services in the Northern Territory.
Throughout the Brolga Awards history, the diversity and calibre of entrants has matched the vitality and growing professionalism of the Northern Territory’s tourism industry.
Winners of the 2013 Brolga Northern Territory Tourism Awards automatically become finalists in the 2013 Qantas Australian Tourism Awards.
New for 2013 – Winners Marketing Package
This year each Business Category winner from the Brolga Awards will win a $10,000 marketing package with Tourism NT.
The new $10,000 Marketing Prize Packages will include:
· Website exposure: 12 months listing in a ‘Brolga Winners’ campaign page on Tourism NT website, promotion of this campaign page
· Social Media exposure: Featured in ‘NT Map of Brolga Winners’ on Photo/pinboards or other visual spaces, photo montage for each winner featured in social media spaces, filming and production of a ‘Winners Video’ to feature on You Tube
· Trade Exposure: Coverage of winning businesses on Tourism NT trade website and promotion to relevant trade partners across the world
· Advertising Exposure: $2,000 for each winner towards digital advertising, access to a Tourism NT digital marketing coach to support this spend, public relations support and additional Regional Tourism Organisation support exposure on websites and databases
