Strategic Services comprise the following key business units:

• Office of the Chief Executive
• Ministerial Liaison
• Board Secretariat
• Strategic Services
• Aviation Director
• NT Convention Centre

The core objective is to lead and support the people, systems and structure of Tourism NT, as well as providing quality research findings and guiding policy to assist both the tourism industry and Tourism NT in strategic planning, development and evaluation activities.

The Strategic Services unit pro-actively informs the strategic decision and planning processes within Tourism NT as well as respond to the day to day demands for information and other services.

The Aviation Director maintains communication with domestic and international airlines as well as pursuing other airlines to service and remain in the Northern Territory, and will represent the Northern Territory on national aviation and tourism advisory board committees.

The Northern Territory Convention Bureau is responsible for promoting the Northern Territory, both nationally and internationally, as a conference and incentive destination and for generating increased business tourism traffic to the NT.
